@robprogressive That transit van was far more reliable in 2004 as well and parts were available and cheap

In 2004, you could buy a Ford Transit van for £10,500 Today it’s £48,000 In 2004 the average weekly wage was £320 Today it’s £730 127% increase on wages but 400% on vans for workers When they tell you inflation is 3%, the cost of living is coming down & wages have gone up, for your protection assume it's significantly more That's why I'm doing a zoom class to help you beat these soaring cost but most importantly increase your earning power See first comment below 👇🏻

I feel that the ship has sailed, but do we bring back Muric or not? Had a helluva season in Italy, will be full if confidence (unlike when we got him from Burnley) and will want to prove himself in the Prem, surely? #itfc

We need to talk about the season this man has had. Most of us didn't have him playing much this season yet he's been absolutely immense. #itfc

@prickettboy3 I think it was just the amount of outrageous decisions that you benefited from. Not really your fault but sometimes you have to accept you might have been a bit fortunate and that might stop some of the bitterness.

There's a lot of bitterness on this app last 24 hours. By most metrics we were the 2nd best team in the league. We lost 2nd least amount of games Joint 2nd best defence 3rd highest goalscorers 2nd best goal difference *Only* team not doubled. Finishing 2nd wasn't luck. #itfc

IPSWICH ARE PREMIER LEAGUE! 🎉 The Tractor Boys have been promoted back to the top-flight after spending just ONE year in the Championship. Where will they finish next season? 🤔

It was to Glenn's great and eternal misfortune to have played during the England tenure of Ron Greenwood and Bobby Robson, neither of whom appreciated his world-class talents. If he had played under Brian Clough he would have won over 120 caps not 53.

I’m not sure why we still have a monarch. It seems like a medieval anachronism to me; a demonstration of inherited status and the the pinnacle of an entrenched aristocracy. And I’m really not sure why our monarch has gone to the US to stand next to another man with too much power, land and money.

Yesterday's Britain, A Better Britain.
I'm the last person who would ever vote Labour, but I've always had some admiration for James Callaghan, who was British Prime Minister from 1976 to 1979. He was actually a decent man, well educated, diplomatic and refined. He is also the only person who has ever held all of the four great Offices of State during his lifetime (Chancellor of the Exchequer, Home Secretary, Foreign Secretary and Prime Minister). If he had held the General Election of May 1979 in the autumn of 1978, the chances are that he would have held on to power. However, he dithered, and the rest is history. His undoing would be the Winter of Discontent of 1978/1979, when Britain was crippled by industrial action. Maggie Thatcher would go on to transform Britain in the eighties, but who knows what would have happened if Callaghan had remained in Number 10 during the early eighties? And what would have happened if the Iron Lady had served another term, instead of being ousted in 1990? We will never know, but surely nothing would have been as bad as the shambolic mess that has dragged Britain down in the last thirty years, brought about by our inept and hopeless leaders.

@IpswichTown Way Ipswich played at 2-1 is the way football should be played. McKenna’s handbrake stuff is terrible to watch. If he starts next season with the same style and isn’t winning he has to go for a manager with a more attacking style. Can’t waste another prem season on him

Will they? Won’t they? Who knows. I’m struggling to see anything other than a 3-0 defeat tonight and a car crash final day defeat to QPR. I hope I’m wrong, but we’ve struggled to take advantage of our position for most of the season, and think we’ve run out of steam #itfc

🚨 Starmer’s top lawman dodging taxes on a £1.5M luxury barn conversion? 👀 While Labour lectures us on “fairness” and hikes taxes, Attorney General Lord Hermer bags planning permission for his dream holiday home - built on land gifted by the in-laws in a classic 7-year inheritance tax dodge saving up to £470k. Natural pool, games room, the works. All “entirely legal,” of course. 😏 Hypocrisy level: expert. One rule for them… #LabourHypocrisy #TaxTheRich #TwoTierBritain #GriftWatch
