Was in Basingstoke last week so visited the town war memorial outside the War Memorial Park (1919) near the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council offices. The memorial itself dates from 1923 and is topped by a bronze Winged Victory. #WW1 #WW2 @Britwarmemorial @WarMemorials
