Democrats continue to mislead Iowans on school funding. Fact: The 2% increase means $4 BILLION to public schools - that’s $8,148 per student just from state aid. If you count federal and local funding it’s over $19,000 per student. Also note: In FY26, 45% of Iowa’s entire state budget went to public schools, while just 3% went to ESAs. It's time Democrats stop distorting the facts. Iowans deserve honesty.
