After college he played on mini-tours when he could while working in a pro shop. Played 1 Korn Ferry event, and 6 Mackenzie, never making a cut. On Monday he made it thru a 7 for 2 playoff for the Huntsville event. Today he 67 and is T14. #Awesome

Brax McCarthy wanted to play golf for Texas. One problem Texas didn't want him. The coach told him if he won a High School State Title or qualified for the US Am he could walk-on. He didn't do either. With no scholarship offers to play anywhere else, he went to Texas anyway
