🎉 I'm incredibly happy to give you part 1 of my interactive blog post series about rigid body physics. I started working on this almost 7 months ago (!) and it's been an absolute labor of love. You'd make my day by checking it out and sharing it ❤️ sassnow.ski/rigid-body-col…

@int_index c) Doubt The chance that I actually hit a compiler bug and it’s not just me being an idiot is vanishingly small

There's a type error in your code. You spend hours debugging it, maybe even days. In the end, it turns out to be a compiler bug. What do you feel? a) Relief b) Horror

@lisyarus Series of smaller articles would probably do better but I do love me some long-form content.

If I were to write about implementing a basic CPU rasterizer, what would you prefer - a series of small articles (implementing features one by one), or a single big article split into many sections?

@pikuma I thought you're just supposed to retweet to show that you're smart? Jokes aside, I have quite a few PDFs on things like discrete math or linear algebra that I've maybe read a combined 20 pages of. I learn much better by doing projects and looking up the things I need.

Be honest. How many of these 300-page PDFs that people post here on CS or math topics do you actually read?

✨A new article: (Yet another) Introduction to quaternions! I'm a mathematician, so my desires are unconventional and my perspective is skewed, but I hope it will be useful at least in some way 😅 I've also added a useful cheatsheet in the end 🥳 lisyarus.github.io/blog/posts/int…

So I'm building my SaaS app ATM, have an idea, and validated it to a point. Now I need to figure out the stack to build it in! I'm most comfortable with the TALL stack, but have used Inertia and Vue extensively. I also invested in FluxUI so would be cool to have a real use for it

@warsh33p Hey Kai! Massive fan of Vueclid - it's awesome! However, I don't think it stretches to all of our use cases at observerly. I was wondering if I could go through the possibility of contributing some components and sponsoring 💙💚

To everyone writing any kind of math literature: whenever you feel the urge to write "it's trivial to see", "it's obvious that", "we can easily", or any of its derivatives: just leave it out. I've yet to see an example of where that actually adds anything to the content.
