@cosmicreamjam @kirbykaze_ you’re not actionable during a good chunk of ANY wavedash, even on characters with a longer wavedash. You’re placed in about 13-16 frames of landing lag. You’re more actionable during dash, where you can dash the other way, shield, jump etc. it’s really just not THE thing.

@kirbykaze_ it's not melee's core competitive gameplay mechanic but specifically its movement? yes it's wavedashing. being actionable while in motion is what makes it good, not just because it looks cool
