So many jackasses on twitter etc giving musicians advice on how to use the music platforms to improve "their reach." Thing is, unless you're playing a very mainstream form of music that is a disastrous financial strategy. No one will talk about this. 4 years off the platforms I increased recorded music revenues 1000%. That's Bandcamp and physical only.
