Gas was more than $5 per gallon when I filled up in Pewaukee near my home on June 10, 2022 when Joe Biden was President. I must have missed your post about his terrible policies driving up gas prices.

Part of me wants to just never talk about Hurricane Helene again. It was incredibly difficult (and still is). I didn’t lose my home but people I love did. People I love were trapped. People I love were thought to be dead for days until WHITE MEN found them! It makes my chest tight thinking about it. Every single person associated with this piece can rot in hell. This is unacceptable.

Not one “left”-leaning news station reached out to me during the disaster. They pretended it wasn’t happening because Biden was president and Cooper was governor, failing us badly. I was up there for months and never once saw a CNN camera or MSNBC crew. Now, over a year later, they want to create some wild narrative. They weren’t there, so how did they know? I, however, was there. The only people being selective about who they helped were FEMA. I saw no racism; no one cared who you voted for. We were all just surviving and serving. A couple of liberals, @HistoryBoutique and @mattvanswol, took me in when I was sleeping in my truck, fed me, and gave me rest. Anyhow, back to things that matter. MSM is not one of them.

Shawn Hendrix came into Western North Carolina to help after a natural disaster. Is he a “white nationalist” 60 Minutes? He continues to deliver gifts to orphans in Black Mountain. He still suffers from health issues from being around moisture and mold. He took a chance and partnered with Matt and I, a liberal couple at the time. He showed us love, kindness, empathy, but more importantly, he brought his survival skills to my community. We were safer having him here and are better humans now for knowing him. A MILLION legacy media losers would not equal one of him. SIT DOWN!

I live in North Carolina and it was mostly White CHRISTIAN volunteers who were helping after the hurricane.
Those volunteers (mostly middle class, small town people) risked their lives, donated food, time, gas and money to anyone who needed help.
