ChatGPT Just Got Ads while Claude fired back
OpenAI launched a self-serve advertising platform inside ChatGPT, letting brands promote products directly inside your conversations.
➽ Claude's response? They ran a Super Bowl ad.
The spot ended with a single tagline: "Ads are coming to AI. But not to Claude.
Anthropic's chief commercial officer followed up telling CNBC the company is "unconflicted", focused entirely on model quality and enterprise integration, not advertising revenue.

Anthropic announced a $200 million partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on May 14, 2026 — covering global health, life sciences, education and economic mobility.
The health component is the most concrete , Anthropic and the Gates Foundation will work with health ministries on outbreak detection and vaccine candidate development.
This is AI being used the way it was always supposed to be used.
