@College_Crosse He did have the title "Associate Coach", substiles in definition, but point taken.

There’s plenty of examples of an assistant taking over for a HC who’s been let go. However, almost always, it comes after the AC serves as an interim, proves themselves, turns things around A HC being let go at the end of the season and *then* promoting from within….thats rare

@DadBodJP @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 🤣🤣Ditto. We need to talk about this over a pour of Bourbon. Bottom line, IMO, OOB Should be reviewable at next deadball stoppage, and same thing happens if they are wrong, loss of TO. 🍻

Feels like a Garrett Leadmon moment in terms of a high-profile playoff game leading to a rule addition

@DadBodJP @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 Not true, just like in cuse game, they don’t see the OOB/crease touch, so play is NOT stopped. Then sideline staff sees review and thats when the red flag is thrown. Who’s not thinking it through now 😉

@DadBodJP @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 Getting lost in translation, play on, as in same thing that happens on the crease, and a coach can challenge thereafter; dead ball. Stepping on the line should not be limited to crease or goal mouth, just like football. I prefer not to listen to those 3, little value add.

@DadBodJP @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 I did not know there was a flag, watched w/sound off, never saw Refs wave it off, which is why I said ‘play on/flag down’, as it appears was the case. In any event, an OOB/Foot on the line should be reviewable after red flag is thrown & play is dead. Best team won anyway.

@waynedaniel_ @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 Except it wouldn't have because there was a push in the back (which is WHY Dwan stepped out) and therefore Syracuse ball a man up for 30 secs. And how long are you going to let them play on, til the next dead ball? Did you think this through?

@DadBodJP @TerenceFoy @kevbrown89 It can be a play on and also challengable. Had UNC be allowed to challenge after the goal, it would be no goal and UNC ball where it was ruled out of bounds.

@CoachJRuggeri Why in the heck did #24 slide so hard, that seems like a coaching / principled decision; frankly, IMO a bad one.

Joe Rogan's friend got bit by a tick and can now only eat eggs. 450,000 Americans have the same allergy to beef and dairy. From a single tick bite. And the timing is very suspicious... Here's what no one is telling you about the lone star tick (thread):

Chris Williamson dropped a brutal truth on Rogan: Most people only tinker — new haircut, lose five pounds, switch jobs. But real transformation? Rewiring your body, your country, your entire worldview? That’s unicorn-rare. And here’s what almost nobody says out loud: the hardest part isn’t the work. It’s the loneliness that hits when you start moving at a different velocity. You become the weirdo training six nights a week, eating differently, journaling at dawn, chasing something you can’t fully explain. Your self-belief doesn’t stay Hollywood-strong — it flickers hard. You’re scrabbling in uncertainty, wondering if any of this is even working. The old crew doesn’t get it. The pull back to “normal” is magnetic. You might lose entire friend groups… sometimes more than once. That isolation isn’t a glitch. It’s the feature. The price of refusing average. In a world built for comfort and sameness, choosing the uncertain climb is one of the last truly rebellious moves left. It forges depth most people will never touch. I’ve lived those lonely chapters chasing my own new start. The doubt is heavy. The freedom on the other side is heavier. What’s the biggest change you made that left you out of sync with your old circle — and did you ever find your new one?

Brad Stevens has a sign in his office with three questions. 1) What do you want? 2) What's true? 3) How do you get there? This is a great framework for coaches or leaders to evaluate themselves and their teams, especially after a disappointing outcome. It forces you to define the destination, confront the current (and honest) reality, and identify a plan for how to close the gap. Great leaders (and teams) don’t just review their results. They study their gaps and use the truth as the starting point for growth. 📹: Boston Celtics

From @EdwardLeeSun: Maryland PR said Sunday that John Tillman would address the media Monday. Now today, Maryland PR says Tillman is not available and did not say if he'll speak tomorrow. Tillman also did not return a phone call or text from The Sun. baltimoresun.com/2026/05/04/mar…

Why was Maryland “one win away” (?) what win were they lacking? If it was a Top 5 win….you can just say that. I don’t actually have any real idea as to why they picked Duke and Yale. They seem to mention the number of wins more than anything else

Reading the interviews done with the selection chair, I’m almost glad there wasn’t more for them to sort through because the total inarticulateness and inability to concretely explain why the decisions were made is sort of astounding.
