Zone 1 is an investment. It builds your fat-burning engine and expands your energy reserves. Zone 3/4 is a withdrawal. It spends from that reserve. Want your hard training to actually work? Build the reserve first. #Base

In 2029, Apophis, a ~370m asteroid, will pass just ~31,000 km from Earth. That’s ~1/10 the distance to the Moon. Inside the orbit of geostationary satellites. Visible to the naked eye. Impact risk this time is low, but the flyby could shift its future trajectory. A direct hit would mean a ~1 km crater and regional devastation. That’s why becoming multiplanetary matters.

Absolutely bonkers HR and HRV adaptation over the last several months. New low on HR of 37.5. And HRV thru the roof. I am a different people physiologically than when we started Project Unreasonable. Wow.

Mike Leach shares a must-listen postgame message on resilience, adversity, and failure. "Nothing is really, really, really fun unless it's hard. Nothing is really fun unless it's hard." "We've got to embrace that things are gonna be hard. We've got to embrace to be excited when things are hard." Successful people don't fear obstacles - they embrace them. "You gotta embrace to be excited about it being hard and playing extremely hard." "Even if you get way up on somebody, you want to be as hard as you possibly can because you're pushing yourself. And all of a sudden you're making great plays, you're doing things that you've never done before." Growth requires discomfort. You have to be willing to look bad before you get better. Then he ended with one line: "Embrace the fact that it's hard. Never hope that it's easy." If you only chase what's easy, you'll never become great. Embrace the hard because that is where growth, success, and character are built. (🎥 Washington State)

@TSNVicRauter Watching curling certainly won’t be the same. You always ask the questions most viewers are wondering and help us understand the game a bit more each time.

An area of VERY HEAVY Rain is about to move over parts of the Metro and Southern Shore. It will not last very long, but it will make for some poor driving on our morning commutes! #nlwx | #nltraffic MARCH 31, 2026 | 7:06 AM NDT

Today, with @Equinor and @bp_plc, we signed the agreement to move Bay du Nord forward. That means a $21 billion investment in Newfoundland and Labrador. It means thousands of jobs. It means fabrication work at Bull Arm. It means a new floating dry dock that will create long-term trades work. It means 31 million hours of guaranteed employment over the life of the project. Newfoundland and Labrador is back in the offshore oil business: and this time, we will make sure the benefits stay here at home.

@Devin_Heroux My wife and I were in that building to pick up a bib for the Lavaredo 120k trail race back in 2023. Wish I had taken more time to check it out. What a beautiful place.

There is so much character in this old 1956 Cortina Olympic venue. Didn’t have a roof for those Games. I think the wooden benches and railings are my favourite part. Such an intimate setting for curling.

@SteveDickerNL I’ve seen trucks full of snow heading up kenmount road extension into paradise so I’m assuming one of the spots is in that part of town somewhere.

Anybody know where the Town of Paradise dumps its snow? We're finally getting our street widened (yay!), but it's been a steady line of backhoes and dump trucks for 90+ minutes. Don't know why they can't just use a snowblower and pile it up on the lawns. #nlwx

@rcbstormpost With 5-10cm of snow forecast for tomorrow there’s a good chance that the calendar month snow record will also fall by the sounds of it.

It's now official: St. John's #YYT snowfall 170.2 cm Feb 1-24 makes this February this snowiest on record! Prev rec for the month: 170.1 (2006). ❄️ A couple days left plus more snow coming, so good chance to also beat Dec 2000’s 173.4 cm for most in any calendar month. 📈 #nlwx
