UPCOMING: Starting on Friday night, May 31, RIDOT will implement a lane split on Route 146 North approaching the Sayles Hill Road intersection in North Smithfield. Motorists continuing north only on Route 146 will use the left lane, traveling on a recently completed section of the new flyover bridge, instead of stopping at the traffic signal. Motorists wishing to make a turn at the Sayles Hill Road intersection will need to use the right lane and the existing traffic signal. Both lanes will be available for Route 146 North through-traffic. Drivers should not suddenly change lanes at the split. For more information, visit: bit.ly/3R7mNuh

@RIBNS Farnum pike appears impassable by cumberland farms currently, river level reached the road. Multiple spots on the other end of the road were also fairly deep a few hours ago, at least one manhole was blowing out

Announcement: Starting Wednesday, December 20, RIDOT will offer free ferry service to travelers who need to commute between the Bristol area and Providence. Those who wish to use the ferry can board at the State Street Dock in Bristol at 127 Thames Street. The ferry will dock at 25 Portugal Parkway (India Street) in Providence, with free parking available in both locations and free RIPTA shuttles.
