Dear Knicks fans(and those on the bandwagon), you get ONE Championship if you win not TEN). Note, A Champion happens every season in the NBA. Thank you, the rest of us.

@Thahappening @MatejSportinfo Exactly ,they cite all these stats but can’t stop Brunson when it counts the most. Focus on Wemby and his offensive inefficiencies and how Castle leads the playoffs in Turnovers

@MatejSportinfo Knicks fans don’t give a shit. You’re down 2-0 and celebrating that you’re “stopping” Brunson but he’s scored the winning buckets in 2 straight games and his teammates are stepping up like SGA’s couldn’t. You sound like the Cavs. Win a game bro.

Spurs are guarding Brunson the same way they guarded SGA. SGA averaged more points, assists, less turnovers and shot better from the floor and from three than Brunson against the Spurs and everybody agreed SGA had a bad series. Why should we have different criteria for JB?
Skip Sayless 🇹🇹🇭🇹♒️🗽@travbryanmusic

This is why I laugh when people say Brunson is having a bad series. Of course he is. Every possession looks like a deleted scene from Mortal Kombat and the refs are treating it like legal defense.

Mitch Johnson blew 2 games at home and you’re talking about when Mike Brown got his call?? Stop with the Stephon Castle nonsense. You Spurs fans keep hyping this kid up like as if he’s Mikal bridges or OG Annouby.. i don’t know what you’re watching but Brunson hits the shots that are most important. You’re guards are too busy flexing and sticking their tongues out on meaningless dunks

@07shari22 Mike Brown was the sixth call Dolan made when looking for a coach and you're about to see why. Don't believe me. Just tune in Monday night. 😉

It looks worse because Jalen Brunson is undersized and exaggerates every contact like a certain guy the (younger but bigger) Spurs guards just eliminated. San Antonio has clearly made Brunson the ultimate focal point of their defensive game plan by sending extra attention his way, and their length is bothering him but it's about to get worse. Whether it is Stephon Castle applying intense physical pressure at the point of attack or Victor Wembanyama lurking in the paint to alter his floaters, the Spurs are forcing Brunson into highly contested, low-percentage looks. Look at his shooting splits: Game 1: 30 points | 12-of-31 FG (38.7%) | 2-of-8 3PT (25%) Game 2: 20 points | 7-of-25 FG (28.0%) | 2-of-8 3PT (25%) Series Total: 19-of-56 FG (33.9%) | 4-of-16 3PT (25.0%) For a player who relies on precise footwork and elite mid-range efficiency, sub-34% shooting from the floor is a massive anomaly and if the Spurs execute their game plan by running all three Slash brothers at the same time, like they did when they came from behind in 11 minutes during Game 2, it's about to get even uglier. You don't have to agree or believe it. Just tune in Monday night. #PorVida #NBAFinals #Knicks #Spurs

Lol this won’t age well. Castle been in the league 2 minutes and you’re talking about what? Oh Castle averages more assists when OG doesn’t even facilitate the Offense? Here are some stats that stare you dead in the face like most Knicks would do…These are current playoff stats and let’s not bring up Stephons turnovers lol

Knicks haven’t faced a team like the Spurs during their finals run. They haven’t faced a defense like the Spurs defense. They haven’t faced a player like Wemby. They haven’t faced a coach like Mitch Johnson. They are going to get exposed.

Ok glad we solved that problem 🙄.. So whenever these athletes kneel for the flag, dap Obama; speak at the DNC ;take a moment of silence for george Floyd; beat their wife, their’s no team meeting. Got it. It’s only divisive when somebody endorses a republican president that more than half of the voting base voted for 👍

Jaxson Dart addressed his teammates on Wednesday after introducing President Trump last week, per @MikeGarafolo and @Rapsheet. Brian Burns, Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jameis Winston were among the team leaders who also spoke up as players worked through the situation and are moving forward.

Exactly , it’s only been a few years and Stearns led them to the NLCS.. i’m frustrated just as everybody else but Mendoza should go first to see if that can create a spark.. Everybody has a right to be frustrated with this team but the overall plan was to get rid of or avoid long term contracts so that nobody is blocking the kids in the farm system. The problem has been the fill in piece’s have not held up their end of the bargain. I think Stearns will figure it out and eventually get it right

@NYM_News It took Dolan a long time to figure it out. I don’t think anyone was complaining when he hired Stearns a few yrs ago. Just like the Knicks weren’t complaining when they hired Phil Jackson and that went bad too.

For many years, the narrative surrounding the #Knicks was that they were plagued by James Dolan’s inability to hire the right people combined with his tendency to meddle and overstep those he brought in. Many believed the Knicks would never get back to the NBA Finals with Dolan as owner. Between Isiah Thomas, Phil Jackson, Steve Mills, Scott Perry, Derek Fisher, David Fizdale and others, there’s a long list of hires that aged horribly for the Knicks. That dysfunction is a huge reason why the Knicks’ Finals drought lasted 27 years and their championship drought is now at 53 years. Steve Cohen is now facing a very similar predicament with the Mets. Between Jared Porter, Zack Scott, Billy Eppler and now David Stearns (combined with Carlos Mendoza), it’s becoming clear Cohen has a serious problem when it comes to putting the right people in charge of the organization. At a certain point, Dolan took a hard look in the mirror and realized things needed to change. When Dolan hired Leon Rose in 2020, he fully committed to Rose and allowed him to reshape the Knicks his way. Cohen made a similar gamble on Stearns in late 2023, but so far it has aged horribly. Cohen allowed Stearns to spend over $700M across the last two years just for the Mets to go 105-111 since the start of 2025, while gutting much of the core fans became attached to. Stearns’ $10M salary is also among the highest in MLB for any executive. Yet there’s been virtually zero accountability from anyone at the top. Rather than cutting his losses with Stearns and Mendoza, Cohen is passively sitting back while his ship continues sinking. This Knicks run gives me hope as a Mets fan. But things are only going to truly change in Queens if Cohen starts holding people and himself accountable. Every day that goes by with Stearns and Mendoza still leading this organization as things continue getting worse is Cohen further stamping his approval on the trainwreck we’re all forced to watch. How much longer is Cohen going to let the billions he invested in the Mets burn in flames? The ball is in his court.

@LTFwash @1NCRDB1 You made it about race. I was just saying that teammates shouldn’t criticize each other about what they do off the field. I hope Abdul has a great career and i wanted the Giants to draft him

@wcastle8981 @1NCRDB1 you’re thinking of abdul as half of a man. saying dart can publicly express his political stance but when carter responds in a much more reasonable way then now it’s a problem? and If you can’t see his value as a player last year then i’d be more than happy to have him back in PH

Im sorry, so supporting the POTUS is only ok when there is a democrat in office because it’s only offensive to support a republican? How about Dart isn’t the one on social media criticizing his teammates political views . These athletes can support or endorse whoever they want but criticizing them publicly is wrong
