@AngieSalmi@huskymgmt I agree! Employers should be required to track the hrs of their employees. I have seen several instances where an employee could not verify his time of employment to other contractors because there was not a hr tracking log.
@huskymgmt I would have to agree with the highlighted points. This article highlights the importance of communication. Yet in many instances, it is the first thing lost throughout the organization.
In my previous job, we were doing marketing training over the summer and holding signs to entertaining people. It's hard and tiring with the different weather, and no one cares if you need a break or not.

Social media is a great source for recruiting. Candidates should be mindful of their posts to remain professional. If a profile is unavailable for a business to view, then they should respect the privacy of the candidate. #summarypost#SCSU#SCSUmgmt352#2021summer@huskymgmt
@annamgranlund@huskymgmt I was unable to read the article, but this is an excellent example! The MN work force is fighting to hold on to employees this year. Why should people work when they make more on unemployment?
@AngieSalmi@PaigeRhode@huskymgmt Why would the view point of others change if they are unaware of your actions? Social media is a platform for public attention (positive or negative). What you say or post publicly is at your discretion. Why is it wrong to let employers see what kind of attention you bring?
@AngieSalmi@PaigeRhode@huskymgmt Why should an employer assume an employee will act differently on internal social business platforms vs online social platforms? Is one’s character not defined by one’s public actions?
@AngieSalmi@huskymgmt This was a great article! Hiring the “right” people not only saves the business money, but it helps them stay on track for success!
@grangruth_tara@TPahoua This chapter definitely brought me back to business law! It was an interesting course and really opened my eyes around the legal restrictions in business.
Interesting that there are so many different judicial branches that handle different aspects of enforcing, writing, and handling the laws surrounding regulations of Human resources. I always just thought it was handled by one party.
