Both sides are blocking bills. That's the full story. Democrats blocked the full DHS bill (includes ICE funding without reforms). That's in the article you linked. What's not: Republicans blocked five separate bills to fund TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and CISA on their own — agencies with nothing to do with ICE. Sen. Britt (R) blocked TSA + FEMA + Coast Guard + CISA funding. Sen. Schmitt (R) blocked standalone TSA funding. Both on the Senate floor.
