@Banjy47 I think Rivers and Delta states have to look inwards and do more to upscale their economic index. Something is not adding up

Deepening bilateral cooperation with a country widely accused of committing genocide is a troubling decision. The Foreign Ministry should have exercised greater judgment and been more mindful of the implications of such a move.

This would have been you 5 years ago if you said yes to Asiwaju Lerry.
You took advantage of his fame and made yourself popular.
He loved you with his heart, but what did you do, you mockèd him cos he wasn't your class.
Now he's in Turkey, and you're in Nigeria.
Your loss.

@yabaleftonline This is true. Especially of the Obidients and mainly Igbos

@Nairametrics Average - 4/10
- Decisive on reforms but poorly planned Reforms taking so much from already stretched masses
- Security is at an all time worse
- Looting is evident among the Political class Especially those loyal to the infinity logo cap
- Lack of connection with the masses

@yabaleftonline Nigga knows the value he added. Not sure its absolutely true but he contributed tremendously

@BashirAhmaad But you politicians lie to the people every 4 years and despite the devastating effect of your lies, you'll never say its bad.

This trending video of VDM discussing a fake voice note linked to the President, it is bad, extremely bad, and no matter how anyone chooses to see it, it clearly crosses all red lines. Contents like this will not only affect the President, his administration or his party; they have the dangerous potential to ignite tensions and create unnecessary chaos that could end up hurting innocent people.
Content creators and social media influencers must understand the weight of their words and the possible consequences of spreading unverified and inflammatory materials.

“My father is one of the reasons Nigeria got into the democratic system of government. When General Sani Abacha d!ed, my father's friend was second in command, so he became the president and came to ask my father for some advice. My father told him to change the military era to a democratic system, where people can now vote”

@NigeriaStories If those thieves fixed the local refineries they've been using to milk the country for years, they wouldn't be crying about monopoly now. Good thing Dangote refinery is going public now
English

JUST IN: NNPCL has told the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos that petroleum products from the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE are sold at “significantly high and fluctuating market prices”, warning that granting the refinery’s requests could hand it monopoly control of Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector.

@AsakyGRN He did the right thing. Someone has to stop that nonsense before it becomes normal

@Midatlblog @drobafemihamzat Lagos makes other state government look useless to me. I understand the part of higher revenue but what the hell are they even doing with the little coming in. See the oil producing states like Delta and tiny Bayelsa eating good from fcuking FAAC and giving bare minimum.
English

Omo, Lagos is seriously building. They are not joking with this 25-year massive industrialisation plan.
Honestly, Dr Hamzat deserves to run unopposed. 🤔
I have never seen politicians like this that seem more focused on development than politics.
He just needs to focus more on expanding road and rail networks especially green line, reforming (LAWMA) very important, and making heavier investments in the environment.
And my one request: please restart the Regional Road ASAP 😅🙏
They are on another level, honestly.
They are working so hard to keep attracting jobs and investments for residents.
God bless everyone building 👌

@weareigala @markessien Even the Igalas do not share a boundary with the Yorubas. They are not any bridge.
English

This map shows the split between Yoruba and Igbo. Lokoja was the origin point of both languages. Those who settled on the right bank became Yoruba, those on the left bank became Igbo. Yoruba and Igbo are the same people on two sides of one river.
Their shared ancestor likely came down the river from the north as the sahara dried up.
