Everyone is asking what the next big asset will be. i think they're asking the wrong question. the more interesting question is who becomes the infrastructure capital flows through. look at aave vs morpho. aave built one of the biggest lending destinations in defi. morpho took a different path. it built a lending primitive others could build on. now even aave v4 is moving toward a more modular architecture. assets are temporary. infrastructure is permanent. the next defi giants won't own every asset. they'll own the highways capital moves through.
