Before this year even started, we kept hearing things like: “Learn a skill.” “Upskill yourself.” Now the year is already here, and the real question is: Have you actually learned a skill? If the answer is no, this thread is for you 👇

Most crypto projects rush to “get listed,” and have this “to the moon” mentality, Moonlit purposely rejects that noise. They are building first. They understand foundation before token, community before price and that alone is a different positioning in Web3. Stay Moonlight 🌙

Trust me, you're being fooled if you believe 90% of Marketers in CTNG (Web 3) are actual Marketers. - Zero skills. - Zero actual knowledge. - Zero POW if they eventually get contacted by a Web 2 company. Because one thing most folks in the Web 3 space values (especially newbies and dumb founders) is NUMBERS! They don't care if you know what you're doing, just bring numbers in and you're good. This is Pathetic. The difference between a Newbie in the Web 3 space and a Self-acclaimed Idolo (KOL/Marketer) is follower count and a tiny bit of wallet knowledge. - Just know how to copy wallet addresses. - Have an account with bots running in thousands. - Have a plug that can link you with more bits when the time comes. - You're good. Two weeks ago, I got off a call with a founder of a dead-but-soon-might-be-revived project and the names of "CTNG Marketers" he gave me... Who took money from him but couldn't even deliver users or better still post, was shocking. I can't call names, but if any name comes to your head? It's probably them. There's a huge difference between been an influencer and a Marketer. If you can't convert someone without adding a giveaway on incentive, you're no good. Let me walk you through a scenario: - A project meets a "Marketer" asking for userbase. - He promises and takes pay. - Makes a not-so-quality tweet then comes on an engagement space. - Requests the mic and says "Hey everyone, there's a post on the Jumbotron... Engage on it and join the group". - They (rarely) add "$200 giveaway" and then... You're obligated to join because of the giveaways or simply because Idolo asked you a favor. - Numbers increase in the group/channel. - Dev is pleased and pays Idolo more. - You (who joined the community) tries to bag a job in the same project - story for another day. - After multiple tries, you give up and archive the group chat - because you don't want to disappoint idolo. That's why most communities now that most of your idolos shilled, have thousands but 0 activity. It's not even the fault of the community manager - jsyk! If most of the marketers you know do this (which 90% of them do) then you should know you're cooked. The cycle repeats itself - it's just like InfoFi. A yapper yaps to another yapper, who the hell is going to use the da*n product then? For more context, remember when @TONBattleground was all over the TL (timeline). That was because I, @TeaonaX @legbo_, @_yeminiz, @ReignOnchained, @ruleonx, @RealVandah and more were working for them as KOLs/Marketers. One thing I'm sure we never did was to come up on spaces and beg you to join the telegram bot. We had quotas to meet every week and we did hit every single one until the end of the contract. Why do you think only a few of the MARKETERS on CTNG retain jobs properly? Just know this: If no one knows you as a project's mascot - you're not a marketer. You're an air freshener, you're just making yourself look good. Ask @BigPenuel what she said the moment she met a couple of us (listed above) on a space. Immediately, you know we're definitely going to put this in your face till you get in. Not our of pity or obligation but because it's something you'd like to check out. If you need a little more clarity, check out @Harri_obi tweets. This is one reason why I don't ever complain on X (Twitter). I don't job hunt because I don't know how to, but the moment I get a job? I deliver pass Hebrew Women that's why when you're onto your 11th project (hunting). I'm still with one, 'cause marketers are not prostitutes. Ask the whole of CTNG what happened when I was with Kryon AI (@Kryon_AI). Well, if you ask me? The moment you find something else to do with your life other than following a shiller up and down... The better. Might start calling names soon, funny enough.. Some of these fake a** Dumbo's for influencers are my friends... BTW, why is Arsenal always the first to get the top but the last to win the Premier League?

I’ve spent enough time in GameFi to recognize the pattern. Most projects don’t fail because “gaming on-chain” is a bad idea. They fail because the economics are broken. Rewards are funded by token emissions, not real revenue. New players sustain older players. When growth slows, the model cracks. Add insider allocations, VC unlock schedules, and private round discounts and players are competing inside systems they don’t truly own. Gameplay becomes secondary. The real strategy becomes farming and timing dumps. That’s why most GameFi charts follow the same cycle: Emission spike → hype → sell pressure → slow bleed. Then I started looking into @PlayOrbs. PlayOrbs is a Web3 competitive game built around a different idea: •Design the economy first. •Make fairness verifiable. •Remove insider advantage. •There’s no premine. •No VC allocation. $PORB is earned through gameplay. Entry fees generate real protocol revenue. 50% of fees go toward buybacks and permanent liquidity creating actual backing instead of pure inflation. Outcomes are settled on-chain with verifiable randomness, meaning the system isn’t just “trust us” it’s transparent by design. What stood out to me even more? The project is being built by a blockchain developer. That explains the focus on: •On-chain verification •Intentional economic structure •Sustainable reward mechanics •Removing insider imbalance This isn’t positioning itself as “the next hype GameFi.” It’s positioning itself as a structurally sound competitive ecosystem. Will adoption determine long-term success? Of course. But from a design perspective, PlayOrbs is addressing the exact weaknesses that broke most GameFi projects. And that’s worth paying attention to.

Day 131 THE STORY OF CZ OF BINANCE Changpeng Zhao, widely known as CZ, is the founder of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. His story is rooted in resilience, adaptability, and long-term conviction. @cz_binance was born in China and later moved to Canada with his family. Life as an immigrant was difficult. His parents were educators, but financial stability was not guaranteed. To support himself, CZ worked multiple jobs, including shifts at fast-food restaurants and gas stations. These early struggles shaped his work ethic and discipline. Academically, CZ studied computer science and quickly developed a passion for systems and infrastructure. He worked at the Tokyo Stock Exchange and later Bloomberg, where he built high-frequency trading systems. These roles exposed him to the inefficiencies of traditional finance and planted the seed for a better, more open system. His entry into crypto was a major turning point. In 2013, he sold his apartment to buy Bitcoin, a decision many considered reckless. Soon after, he joined Blockchain info and later became CTO at OKCoin. However, disagreements over vision and structure pushed him to leave and start Binance in 2017. The obstacles were intense. Binance faced regulatory pressure, repeated jurisdiction changes, security threats, and public scrutiny. Instead of slowing down, CZ focused on speed, user experience, and global accessibility. Binance grew rapidly by listening to users and building during uncertainty. CZ’s motivation has always been rooted in freedom, efficiency, and belief in decentralization. He often emphasizes long-term thinking, personal responsibility, and building through chaos. His journey shows that conviction, when combined with skill and persistence, can turn risk into global impact.

Day 130 The Story of Hayden Adams Hayden Adams’ journey is one of uncertainty, courage, and quiet persistence. He did not begin as a crypto prodigy or a Silicon Valley insider. He studied mechanical engineering, followed the traditional path, and worked as an engineer at Siemens. Then in 2017, he lost his job. For many, that moment would feel like failure. For Hayden, it became a turning point filled with confusion, fear, and unanswered questions about purpose. During this uncertain period, he discovered Ethereum and the idea that software could replace intermediaries in finance. With no formal background in computer science, he taught himself Solidity from scratch. Inspired by a blog post from Vitalik Buterin, @haydenzadams began building a decentralized exchange in his apartment, guided more by belief than certainty. In 2018, that experiment became Uniswap. Instead of order books, Uniswap used automated liquidity pools, allowing anyone to trade tokens without permission. At first, few noticed. But during DeFi’s rise, Uniswap exploded, processing billions in volume and reshaping how markets work. In 2020, Hayden oversaw the launch of the UNI token, decentralizing governance and rewarding early users in a way that changed Web3 culture forever. Today, Hayden Adams is recognized as one of the most influential builders in DeFi, yet his story remains deeply human. If you are confused, lost, or feel behind, remember this: clarity often comes after action, not before it. Hayden didn’t wait to feel ready. He started while uncertain. Sometimes, the path only appears when you take the first honest step forward.
