@CoopsMark @nath_brown Microsoft were bad, in the late 1990's / early 2000's, when we switched to GNU/Linux #Microsoft" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fear,_unc… as for Google and Amazon services we are not the ones to ask as we don't use them and provide alternatives to them the best we can.

@nath_brown I think many use Linux because it's free, fast and more secure. Not being MSis more of a bonus.

I know plenty of folks who use Linux because they perceive Microsoft to be the devil, but then happily use Google products, or Amazon hosting. What am I missing?

Just seen that the Sally Army Citadel in Sheffield looks to be up for sale. This would be a perfect circus/theatre venue that could help #Sheffield to retain our circus performers. Would anyone like to help us save this building and build on our city's performing arts heritage?

@Mr_55p @screwloose1980 Right, I don't remember it ever being open, I always assumed that when it was operating it catered for the late night trade of people walking home from town after a night out, but this is just a guess!
