Wax and Beans is more than a record shop. Much, much more.
Right in the centre of Bury, it’s a coffee shop, cafe, live venue, a place to work and a place to meet like-minded people. You don’t have to love music - plenty just come for the excellent food - but it helps if you want to get the full experience.
They only sell vinyl - the best way to contribute more to your favourite artists - from new, limited edition releases to second hand classics and rarities, and have had all kinds of great bands through to door for intimate gigs and signings - sometimes spilling over to The Met theatre over the road, if they need a bigger boat.
It’s the kind of local record shop that every neighbourhood needs.
And the kind of cafe every neighbourhood needs too.
