Max King still has 9 months left on his original deal before that extension. He was paid $1.6m last year without playing a game (yes some was front loaded). We all wish him well, but how do clubs keep avoiding scrutiny for the dumbest decisions? It was always going to play out this way. 🧾

Two players have been invited to train with Fremantle in a bid to clinch a rookie spot in the SSP window. VFL small forward Chris Scerri, who was going to train with Richmond after signing as a VFL player there, will train with Freo, as will young ruckman Zac Harding. Both 19yo.

The @freodockers will add Mason Cox via SSP on Monday. Freo were keen to add a ready-made big man with AFL experience as depth, with exit of Liam Reidy. Cox played 139 games in 10 years at the Pies - including the 2023 premiership.
