CrowdStrike is actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts. Mac and Linux hosts are not impacted. This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed. We refer customers to the support portal for the latest updates and will continue to provide complete and continuous updates on our website. We further recommend organizations ensure they’re communicating with CrowdStrike representatives through official channels. Our team is fully mobilized to ensure the security and stability of CrowdStrike customers.

A warning for anyone standing in the background while Sunak pleads for people to vote for him - if you don't look enthusiastic about what he's saying someone on his team will get a text telling them to block you from view...

A man who, despite having every unearned privilege imaginable sprinkled upon him his whole life, is still unable to understand the meaning of “equality before the law”, “woke”, the function of the Sentencing Council or the fact that we have a Lady, not a Lord, Chief Justice.
Jacob Rees-Mogg@Jacob_Rees_Mogg

Equality before the law should not be undermined by a woke Lord Chief Justice and her sentencing council.

A real journalist might have pointed out that the ECHR was not why the Supreme Court ruled against the government. This “exclusive” is like uncritically reporting “BRITAIN WILL SLAUGHTER EVERY GREY SQUIRREL IF THAT IS WHAT IT TAKES TO STOP SMALL BOATS, SUNAK SAYS” Sure, but eh?
Harry Cole@MrHarryCole

🚨 EXC: Britain will quit the ECHR if that is what it takes to stop small boats, Sunak tells Sun readers tonight.  For the first time in his premiership, the PM threatened to end the UK’s 71-year tie to the European Convention of Human Rights.  WATCH: thesun.co.uk/news/27100198/…

Question! Why should local governments use taxpayers’ money to buy proprietary software from a single vendor? And what happens to citizens' data? A solution is to move to free software like Linux and LibreOffice – which is what Schleswig-Holstein is doing: blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2024/04/0…

I don't want lower taxes. I want hospital beds. Trains that run on time. Kids who aren't too hungry to learn. Libraries in every town. Rivers that don't run with slurry. Local councils not forced into bankruptcy. Politicians who don't venally line their own pockets.

This war must become hopeless for Russia, for the terrorists. They must sense that there is force that destroys those who seek to destroy life. And we can ensure this. Every partner knows what is required. The main thing is political will to make it happen. To ensure a level of supplies that will help. If this doesn’t happen and America or Europe lose to Iranian "Shaheds" or Russian jets, it will go down in history as one of the most shameful chapters. Evil should never be encouraged. Neither by weak decisions, delays in supplies, or indecision.

Just to be clear, Clarence Thomas will be deciding if Donald Trump has presidential immunity for attempting a coup that his wife, Ginni Thomas, helped plan. Clarence Thomas is compromised.

Ukraine is one part of Putin's war to overthrow the West. Our way of life, our democracies. He says it very clearly. Do we in the West really understand it? Drip-feeding support to ensure Ukraine doesn't lose isn't enough. Ukraine must win.

❤️🇺🇦 It is hard to say more about the Holodomor than I have said before, but that is also the point. We must keep repeating it, keep vigilant. Ukraine can defend itself now, yes, but we also know what happens when hostile dictators aren’t stopped.
Dmytro Kuleba@DmytroKuleba

By firing over 70 drones at Ukraine overnight on the eve of Holodomor genocide Remembrance Day, Moscow indirectly takes responsibility for this heinous past crime of starving millions of Ukrainians to death. For them, it was about killing Ukrainians then and it is now. The difference between 1932–1933 and now is that back then we were practically defenseless against the totalitarian evil that took away all of our food and cordoned off starving villages, preventing people from seeking rescue in other regions. Today, we have our own state, our own army, our own air defense, and our own memory. We will never forgive and never forget what the Kremlin has done to our people. Moscow takes pride in killing Ukrainians. But they also show how scared they are of the fact that we are stronger than them. The USSR, and later Russia, made every attempt to conceal and deny the crime of the Holodomor genocide. They failed. 28 states and three international organizations have recognized it as genocide against Ukrainians, and this number has more than doubled in 2022–2023. I am grateful to each and every of them and call on others to follow suit. We will continue our work to expand global recognition of the Holodomor. Evil must and will be defeated and held accountable.
