@github Numbers don't tell the full story sometimes. Like my Spanish colleagues claim, one Spainish IT is worthy of 20 Indian Indians. And I agree wholeheartedly after leading of an Indian team of 40 people. Just my own observation.

The GitHub Innovation Graph is fun to watch (who doesn't love a bar race? 🏁) but it's also a source of compelling economic data. It's helping researchers reveal trends in GDP, inequality, and emissions that traditional indicators miss. Find out how. 💡 gh.io/researchers-in…

This is genuinely incredible and says SO SO MUCH about the perception of China in the West. This is the #1 news show in France, and the host - David Pujadas - asks the pundits around the table (a sample of the top media figures in France) if they can name 3 living Chinese people. That's it: they just need to say the names of 3 living Chinese people, anyone. This should be extremely easy. Yet not of a single one of them can name a single Chinese beyond Xi Jinping. They do not know a single living Chinese person beyond the president. That's the level of ignorance of China we're dealing with in the West today, in 2026. This is the source for the video: tf1info.fr/replay-lci/vid… Aired live yesterday 28th of May 2026.

@antirez Pity, I only have an M3 Ultra with 256GB RAM. Apple no longer sells the 512GB RAM model. Though it seems to me the DS4 Q4 version is good enough.

India has unveiled the indigenous stealth bomber called Ultra Long-Range Strike Aircraft, designed for intercontinental reach with a range of over 12,000 km without refueling and a payload capacity of 12 tonnes. Featuring advanced radar absorbing materials and a stealth optimized airframe, the aircraft is expected to join the force by 2030. #India #IranWar#Israël #Russia

Until now, China had the only clear plan for a lunar surface base with the steady, methodical ILRS. Now we see NASA committing to rapid scaling up of lunar surface activities. This is all going to be fascinating to watch in many ways. What will be China's response to Moon Base?

To build a sustained human presence on the Moon, we are building @NASAMoonBase, prioritizing surface operations and scalable infrastructure.  - Frequent robotic landings and mobility testing including MoonFall drones  - Starting in 2027 nearly monthly cadence of equipment and rovers with scientific payloads landing on the Moon.  - Investments in power, communications, and surface mobility  - Scalable infrastructure to support long-term human presence The objective is clear: build the foundation for an enduring lunar base and take the next step toward Mars.

I left NotebookLM a few months ago to solve a bigger problem in learning. Today, as the first step, we are launching @WonderingApp for early access. It's Duolingo for anything — turning any topic into a guided path with bite-size visual lessons that can fit into your busy schedule. But you don't sacrifice depth/effectiveness for convenience: Total Control: You decide how deep you want to go, how difficult the material should be, and how personalized the experience feels. Active Learning: We provide the tools you need to practice, test your understanding, and actually apply what you’ve learned. Long-term Mastery: It’s built to help you truly remember and master any subject, not just skim the surface.

While India🇮🇳 is busy betraying BRICS, the United States Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher Landau, went to India and told the Indians that the US🇺🇸 will ensure they never amount to anything. Landau stated that Washington would not repeat the “mistakes” it made with China 20 years ago. Specifically, he argued that the US had previously allowed the Chinese to develop their markets and gain economic advantages, only to see them become a peer competitor. This is explosive when you consider that Western, and especially American economic philosophy is a zero-sum game, with losers and losers. That’s why Landau spoke of “beating us in a lot of commercial things”. Because the US intends to win, and this automatically puts India on the wrong side of that equation. To the United States, global trade is a scoreboard where one country’s surplus is another’s deficit. So, by framing India’s potential market rise as something to be restricted, Landau is signaling that the US does not view the “rising tide lifts all boats” philosophy as a viable strategy. Instead, they’re treating economic growth as a finite resource in which dog eats dog. By grouping India with China, Landau is making it clear that any nation reaching a certain level of manufacturing or technological prowess is a threat to US hegemony and that the Americans have learned their lesson with China. Never again, and India must just let go of any delusions of progress. In practice, this will mean demanding that India lower its protective tariffs while the US simultaneously tightens its own standards and increases it's subsidies to keep American industry on top. All the best to India.

@tshugart3 No wonder American hegemony has lasted so long. The US still has many clear-headed experts. But one thing always bothers me, why is American so obsessive on a totally avoidable war with China over Taiwan? In no way US hegemony will collapse due to China's reunification.

@DD_Geopolitics They speak native Chinese, but the writing doesn't make sense. "xx 精工安装" (can't see clearly the first two characters) means "xx precision installation". “李晶晶到此一游” means "Li Jingjing visited here". The name "Jingjing" is very likely a girl's name.

Aussie Freedom of Navigation Boomerang 🪃 What goes around comes around.... A Chinese naval task force, consisting of the Type 055 guided-missile destroyer Type 055, a Type 054A frigate, and a Type 903A replenishment ship, has been spotted operating approximately 124 miles east of Sydney, Australia This marks the first known deployment of such a formation in these waters. The presence of these Chinese warships, particularly a Type 055 destroyer, is a demonstration of China's growing ability to project power beyond its immediate sphere of influence bulgarianmilitary.com/2025/02/19/chi…

BREAKING: Russia might be devastated! It looks like Europe is stepping up in a major way, potentially committing $732 billion in additional aid to Ukraine—nearly 2.5 times the total global support Ukraine has received since the war began. If this happens, it would deal a crippling blow to Russia’s war efforts, significantly strengthening Ukraine’s defenses. Unlike Trump, who appears eager to accommodate Putin, European leaders recognize the stakes and are standing firmly for democracy and sovereignty.
