This is genuinely incredible and says SO SO MUCH about the perception of China in the West. This is the #1 news show in France, and the host - David Pujadas - asks the pundits around the table (a sample of the top media figures in France) if they can name 3 living Chinese people. That's it: they just need to say the names of 3 living Chinese people, anyone. This should be extremely easy. Yet not of a single one of them can name a single Chinese beyond Xi Jinping. They do not know a single living Chinese person beyond the president. That's the level of ignorance of China we're dealing with in the West today, in 2026. @AJ_FI China has our own plan of 5-20 years, we don’t compete or even care about US plan which changes every single year.

Until now, China had the only clear plan for a lunar surface base with the steady, methodical ILRS. Now we see NASA committing to rapid scaling up of lunar surface activities. This is all going to be fascinating to watch in many ways. What will be China's response to Moon Base?

While India🇮🇳 is busy betraying BRICS, the United States Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher Landau, went to India and told the Indians that the US🇺🇸 will ensure they never amount to anything. Landau stated that Washington would not repeat the “mistakes” it made with China 20 years ago. Specifically, he argued that the US had previously allowed the Chinese to develop their markets and gain economic advantages, only to see them become a peer competitor. This is explosive when you consider that Western, and especially American economic philosophy is a zero-sum game, with losers and losers. That’s why Landau spoke of “beating us in a lot of commercial things”. Because the US intends to win, and this automatically puts India on the wrong side of that equation. To the United States, global trade is a scoreboard where one country’s surplus is another’s deficit. So, by framing India’s potential market rise as something to be restricted, Landau is signaling that the US does not view the “rising tide lifts all boats” philosophy as a viable strategy. Instead, they’re treating economic growth as a finite resource in which dog eats dog. By grouping India with China, Landau is making it clear that any nation reaching a certain level of manufacturing or technological prowess is a threat to US hegemony and that the Americans have learned their lesson with China. Never again, and India must just let go of any delusions of progress. In practice, this will mean demanding that India lower its protective tariffs while the US simultaneously tightens its own standards and increases it's subsidies to keep American industry on top. @BaliEarthSoul Thank you for the honest feedback. Indeed we China still has a long way to go comparing to developed countries. I still see dogshits every day despite living in the city center of Shanghai that is only 500 meters away from a popular tourist attraction point.

So far, i enjoying my trip in China.. Great food, nice scenery at night especially, great public facilities and transportation, not to mention the shopping experience. But there's few thing that shock me..
