Our charity ambassador Andy had the pleasure of meeting lots of great guys and girls this week during #HITHHOnSite, including Dean who was proud to talk openly about #mentalhealth and the importance of awareness within construction companies.

Employers: Do you train workers how to use #PPE e.g. how to remove gloves without contaminating skin? Do you explain why it is needed, when to use it, and its limitations? If your risk assessment shows that PPE is needed for a task, it should always be used, even for quick jobs.

Rather than emergencies or injuries, workers presented common conditions usually suited for assessment by primary #healthcare providers. Most of these would have gone unaddressed without access to the site surgery due to difficulties accessing #HealthAdvice.
