We need Indiana style property tax caps in Illinois. Indiana used to have as high of property taxes as Illinois, as a percentage of home value. Since their 2010 Constitutional amendment they have cut their rates by more than half. IL T-1st: 1.88% of home value IN 29th: .76%

Jusy a heads-up. Watch out on Venmo. They used to send the money to you. They still do. But they wait and hold it until the night before, because in reality they want you to pay a fee to get it immediately. Otherwise it takes the 3 days to receive. What Nick Cannon said is exactly how misinformation spreads. Yes, the KKK was tied to Southern Democrats in the 1800s. That part is true. But leaving out what happened next changes the entire meaning. In the 1960s, after Lyndon B. Johnson passed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the racists who supported segregation did not just disappear… They left the Democratic Party and shifted politically. That is a huge part of the story that keeps getting left out. AND THAT MATTERS. Because when we, especially Black voices with big platforms, repeat half stories, it does not just stay a conversation. It spreads and it can be used against us. We cannot afford to be loud and wrong at the same time, especially right now.

I continue to talk to all I meet outside of social media. Its amazing how many don't even know nor understand that our money is changing to benefit us, We the People. Their all still stuck on taxes, too. Out of fear. I show them what I use, and how they too can invest if they desire too. Not many are willing to take the step. But I at least plant seeds. I believe its a crucial 1st step. I ask them to research everything involving what our monetary value is going to. I even show them how the Federal Reserve is now named the Federal Credit Union. And request that they look into a credit union near them. Different avenues require different approaches. I can only lead them to the source. They have to be willing to do the rest. We can't force them. I just hope they see it before everything takes off.

You can be both a builder and a voice in this space. An influencer and a developer. That’s not the issue. The issue is most won’t do both. Too many KOLs are trying to dominate the Web2 side of crypto, Discord memberships, merch, paid groups, while barely touching the actual networks they talk about. They market Web3… without building in Web3. And the wild part? They speak with authority like they’ve been in the trenches. If even a fraction of influencers put the same energy into learning smart contracts, launching dApps, testing protocols, providing liquidity, or building real tools… this space would move 100x faster. No question. But let’s be honest, when you’re printing money off Web2 funnels, why evolve? That’s the real tension no one wants to talk about. So the question becomes: Are you here to build the future… or just monetize the narrative of it? Because one creates value. The other extracts it.

There isn't enough housing available — and outdated laws make it difficult and expensive to build more. The Building Up Illinois Developments plan would eliminate unnecessary barriers to housing construction and close financing gaps for housing of all kinds.
