Hail damage on our Mambray Creek property last night. Our estimate is 50-100% on wheat, 100% on canola. Not widespread but would have been active while it was happening

Glyphosate resistant ARG 3WAT spayed with the new proposed rate of paraquat: left is simply 900ml/ha Paraquat 250 (no adjuvant) vs right is the same rate with Wetter (TX) 0.2%. Plants on the left will set seed and start their journey to become resistant to paraquat also.

@robbert115 Could Hasten be counteracting a specific effect from a resistance mechanism, eg improving penetration or translocation which has been driven by a specific resistance mechanism?

Same as above same rates same everything sprayed same night 4 weeks ago as today just simply adding + 1% Hasten v/v to either glyph (left) or pqt (right). Now to repeat the lot in a D/R study to check rates that bring out the best from adjuvants.

Ryegrass highly resistant to glyph and paraquat. I’ve done quite a bit of work in the last 3 seasons and this is interesting. In photo ryegrass surviving 3L Crucial (left side of punnet) vs 3L Gramoxone250 (right side). Check 👇 next tweet the difference adding 1% Hasten made!

@steven_bolt4 Was it fire retardant (red) or foam/gel and water? (White) If it’s fire retardant it contains phosphorus & nitrogen fertiliser & if it was foam/gel they act as surfactants. Either may show responses in crop. @BoggaAg @HortApplication

@merindie1 @MattMcDonald013 @Bull2551 @therealbiztang The new system takes fuel moisture content into account, it’s just not depicted on the chart for simplicity. In fact the new system takes into account a range of more sophisticated drivers to fire behaviour in the background.

ATTENTION SA FARMERS/HARVEST WORKERS. The Harvest code of conduct is changing and we now have a new FBI number to cease harvest operations It used to be a FDI number of 35, it is now a FBI of 40! Same way to work out just a new number!! 🔥 🚒

@JoelyDenterpris @MattMcDonald013 Whilst change is not easy the new system is a massive leap forward in alignment, accuracy and safety for the public and firefighters. The old system served us well but it is now outdated, being based on 60+ yr old data and communication.

@paulD74465326 @MattMcDonald013 Whilst the fire danger rating system and public messaging is uniform nationwide each state or council/shire has different laws and guidelines for fire prevention and can make calls on things like harvesting and burning.

@MattMcDonald013 We have just had a national fire danger rating system implemented- will this see different harvest systems in different states? Or is this national
