I go on Facebook once a year to check who still wishes me happy birthday. A few years ago I read a fascinating book on the Congolese Civil War, started looking up militia commanders who’d been interviewed, realised they all had Facebook accounts and started sending them friend requests so for a couple of years now I’ve received more happy birthday wishes from Congolese warlords than university friends.

@RhyminCarly It is a box of 150 Bigelow Green Tea, individually wrapped and best if used by 9/29/2024 that I have about half left. I seep it so long because it just tastes like hot water otherwise but I will try the three minutes right now.

I drink tea for the ritual but this morning I finally read brewing instructions on bottom of a packet of Yorkshire Tea. Brew 4 mins 30 secs. I usually leave bag in water for 30, 40 secs. I followed instructions, 40 yrs after I made my first cup. Banging. Never too late to learn.
