Parents and campaigners made the emotional journey to @ScotParl yesterday and sat in the chamber for hours, hoping that the government benches would listen to their pleas. We will keep fighting to stop the downgrading of @wishawneonatal, the UK Neonatal Team of the Year 2023.

As MSPs prepare to debate the downgrading of University Hospital Wishaw's neonatal unit we're being told the proposals put babies' lives at risk. The Scottish Government are considering consolidating intensive neonatal care into three large units in Glasgow, Edinburgh & Aberdeen. Ministers say there is strong expert evidence it will mean improved outcomes for the country's most vulnerable babies. But over 12,000 people have now backed a campaign calling for a rethink - a campaign started by East Kilbride mum @LynneMcRitchie1. Her son Innes was born in Wishaw four months premature. @weesloany @NikitaBassiSNP You'd cry if they didn't send you and it was cancelled. You can't win Greece has forest fires and these kind of things all the time. It's how it is, they will sort it.

Arrived in Rhodes this morning to be told that wild fires have spread throughout and our hotel has been evacuated. No hotels anywhere for us to go and now looking for a flight home as news says the fires are getting worse around Greece. Help. Crying. Throwing up.
