Islam's theocratic nature is not merely a theoretical construct but a palpable reality, evidenced by its foundational texts, historical actions, and contemporary manifestations. Sharia law, derived from Quran and hadiths, demands total submission. Historically, this theocratic intent manifested in the Ottoman Empire's conquest of Constantinople in 1453, establishing a dhimmi system that taxed non-Muslims into submission, and the Mughal Empire's forced conversions in India from 1526 to 1857. Modern cases like Afghanistan’s Taliban (2021) or Iran’s 1979 revolution prove this point.
Islam rejects secular governance. In the United States, the threat is latent but significant. The seditious elements of Islam's theocracy pose a direct threat to national security, amplified by networks and radical voices. The Muslim Brotherhood's 1991 Explanatory Memorandum outlines a "Civilization Jihadist responsibility" to "enablement of Islam in North America," establishing a stable Islamic movement to expand the Muslim base, unify efforts, present Islam as a civilization alternative, and support the global Islamic state. Radical voices, such as the Al-Aqsa Mosque rally in 2020 where speakers declared, "Tomorrow, we will conquer Paris and Rome," amplify this threat, echoing the Muslim Brotherhood's conquest calls.
