We are pleased to welcome the new Head of School, Mrs. Zobeida Medina, into our STEAMspark family! Mrs. Medina comes to STEAMspark with more than 25 years of experience in the field of education.

Things are STEAM-ing up this summer as students learned more about science and nature at camp. Our Nido students learned about gravity, density, and plants. The highlight of the week was getting to observe all the fun animals that visited our school.

During our first week of summer, we learned about the moon, stars, and the planets. Our Primary students became scientists that developed their very own mixtures for galactic bath bombs. They created solar systems & launched rockets as the honorary astronauts of STEAMspark.

STEAMspark's culinary gardens are in and are already producing the first harvest that will be included in our chef-prepared student lunches. Thank you to Urban Dirt Gardening Company and Piper for all of your hard work in the design and construction of the gardens.

Did you know that the principals of Montessori learning begin within the Nido environment? Each Nido environment is designed with the opportunity for students to work out how things respond to their touch, allowing time for them to explore the space, & respond to their efforts.
