I regret having to write this post but influencers from New York who failed to stop Mamdani and don’t understand how our elections work in Los Angeles are confusing our voters.
Bass is an incumbent. She will very likely succeed at making it in the top two, if she doesn’t win outright with 50%+.
In 2022, Obama endorsed Bass days before the election. Pelosi and Schiff have already endorsed her. The establishment won’t let her hang this year the way they let Adams hang in NY.
The fear that Bass will not make it in the top 2 is not rational. Even Gascon was the top vote getter in the 2024 primary before he was defeated in the runoff.
Therefore, encouraging people to vote for Bass as a strategy to block Raman will only do one of two things:
Either push Bass over the 50% threshold to win outright in June, OR pull votes away from Pratt which will increase the chances that Raman makes it into a runoff against Bass.
The people encouraging you to vote for Bass are voting for Spencer themselves. It is dangerous, inexperienced, and lying to voters.
I have zero tolerance for that in my sandbox, even from my friends.
Don’t be misled by the same people who lost New York. They will lead you to more losses.

I’ve lived in California, off and on, since 1993. The Air Force sent me here first on an assignment to Travis AFB and I’ve settled down here since. I’m a transplanted Southerner. I love the state, hate the politics. It’s that simple.
Then, I had an opportunity to spend some time with @SteveHilton on a few occasions. We’ve had a couple meals together. I’ve gotten to know him. I’m impressed, not only with his intelligence and his grasp on literally everything that affects California but, equally importantly, he’s a great guy. There’s not a single issue you can challenge him on that he won’t have an airtight, conservative plan for. I dare you to find one.
He’s the answer for my state. The governor we need! The only answer. He’s bright, he’s prepared, and he’s hilariously funny. He’s 100% real. What you see with Steve, is what you get.
And he’s exactly who we need. I wholeheartedly endorse Steve for Governor of California!

This election is the most consequential election for climate in years. I’m up against a candidate who’s taken more than $200,000 from Big Oil and Gas and another candidate who made their billions investing in fossil fuel polluters.
In Congress, I passed laws to charge Big Oil more to use our public lands. I investigated oil leaks and pollution. As Governor, I will defend our climate every day, and that’s why @envirovoters are backing my campaign.

It’s time to vote differently in California, we have given the Democrats enough of our money time and livelihoods and all we have received in the end was higher taxes and higher cost of living. * Bacerra said he will not pause the gas tax. His wife in on the board of the Dignity Health (CommonSpirit) and refused to be part of the Dignity Financial Assistance program (meaning, the poors couldn't be her patient) ( reported by @jenvanlaar) * Mahan’s wife is on the board of a private school that received $862k in grants from the city, the city that her husband is mayor of. Career politicians are going to career politician. Vote different vote early.
