Thinking about a recent person that made you angry, how many pins would you stick in their voodoo doll? How about in a neutral other person? 🤔 New paper OA in BJCP! doi.org/10.1111/bjc.12…. We found hoarding was associated with > direct and displaced aggression.

So excited that this book chapter (my first as well!) is out there in the world 📕. Some key points 👉 IL techniques include ⬆️ learning of new associations 👉consider ways to enhance retrieval 👉 child adaptations incl child friendly language, incl parents, & visual stimuli

Is hoarding associated with more anger? My last PhD study suggests yes. Hoarding was associated with >angry feelings & >cognitive and behavioural expressions of anger. Anger mediated the rel between insecure attachment and hoarding too. Available OA! doi.org/10.1016/j.paid…
