Thanks to @AACBT_org_au for having me back! We found individuals with hoarding symptoms had trouble voluntarily visualising, but intriguingly also experienced more involuntary intrusive imagery - even when we controlled for OCD, depression and PTSD! Paper hopefully out soon!

I’m also very pleased to share our latest research in @PASOlabUM at the @ABCTNOW Tic & OCD SIG! We found that individuals with hoarding symptoms experience emotional memories associated with non-valued possessions, likely maintaining hoarding symptoms over time. #ABCT2023
