@MushrooQueendom I mean... beyond the question of "sustainability of the industry", what's described here would be completely illegal in many countries. This doesn't really have anything to do with making games, it's just exploitation.

The average game dev has 3-6 years experience & will leave the industry in less than 10. This is why. Imagine the same experience below, for 100s of developers, for 5 years or more. That’s often AAA game dev. When we say this is not sustainable, it is bc it’s not sustainable.

@javierabegazo In an interesting way, given their huge presence in Sweden where unions are the default for everyone, one could say that EA, Microsoft and even Activision (through King) are some of the most unionized game publishers out there.

Maybe don’t exploit your workers then

This XBOX games event was probably the best ever. I don't even know what I am more excited for... Star Wars? Starfield? MS Flight Sim 2024? ALL OF THEM?!

@LucPestille @HBO Seems like there was very little promotion of it ? I heard about it through a friend recommendation and even then, I felt it was a bit hidden in the menus, or at least it never showed up as a recommendation on the HBO app. Weird.
