0-4 drop. switching from grimmsnarl to festival lead at this event is the single worst mistake I have ever made in this game. generationally ass deck that's unacceptably inconsistent and bad into the field

@4TheBattles @GabbySnyder There's nothing stopping the local stores from hosting tournaments. If anything, it might make them more likely to go if they're off put by the people who play just for the points. I guess it depends on the local demographic

@GabbySnyder I think during the summer is a poor choice to have a long break. I feel like for many younger players it makes the most sense to have the most opportunities during the time they do not have to be studying for school. Why a long break then?

Also, for what it’s worth - I’m glad to see that TCG and GO are joining VGC in having an off season. I know this is somewhat misleading (if you qualify for worlds, it’s lock in time) but having a period of time where points aren’t on the table I think is healthy for the game.

@wernt0 @JoeMerrick Also, if you open your Pokedex and set Pokemon to "All" and location to "In this area", you can see the legend in the Pokedex before spending time searching as soon as you spawn in.

I have like zero tangible proof of this but I am certain that the Substitute Doll is heavily weighted push you to islands that have things you need i.e. costumes etc. Of the last 10 Substitute trips I've done, I've had new stuff in 7

@playpokemon One, what is the monthly max points you can get? Two, "These activity points will be tracked with handy new-Trainer progress posters" why make an app designed for tracking stuff like this and then not use it for this?

Pokemon Community: a serious conversation needs to be had about your local card shop and cups. This weekend I played 3 cups: $20 entry - top 4 and (after saying 4th doesn’t get anything) - decided to give $20 in store credit $20 entry - top 8 and 1 prize pack

@JoeMerrick Would it be possible for you to make it so that when you click the big version, it takes you back to where it is in the table? It would save having to scroll down every time

Remember, the galleries on Serebii need you to click the small image to bring up the big image. Seen a lot of people say our images are really really small...those are thumbnails, and you click to get the big version.

See this logo campaign just proves one thing that is often said but people continue to forget: Every Pokémon is somebody's favourite Seeing people excited at seeing a logo with Blitzle, or Finneon, or Phione etc., Pokémon largely ignored, is such a fun thing.

@GodmasterBun Yeah there would be a special set in January as a finale to Mega Evolution. So that's one set. Chaos Rising is out in May so that leaves July, September and November for 3 more sets, bringing it to 4 sets

@wernt0 While that would be nice, typically the new generation comes out in English during February/March at the first set of the year because that's the new rotation block. We may have one more special set in January but I wouldn't count on Mega Evolution sets in 2027

First cards for Mega Floette ex and Ange Floette have been revealed in Japan. Was not expecting the latter

@GodmasterBun If history repeats itself, gen 10 game comes out November then March next year we'll get the first gen 10 set so I'd say 4 more sets excluding PO and CR

@JoeMerrick Makes sense! We probably only have four more Mega Evolution sets until Gen 10 sets (including Perfect Order and Chaos Rising), they're likely getting Z-A base game out of the way to prepare for Mega Dimension content

If you add Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex to your deck in Pokemon TCG Live, you either start it or it's your last prize. There is no in between.
