I'd like to personally thank @SenLouiseLucas for making this day possible.
She tried to push through the most outrageous gerrymander in the entire country, aiming to redraw a state Kamala Harris won with 51% of the vote into a 10-1 map for Democrats.
And in doing so, she totally shattered any conception that previously existed on the Right that there was some sort of neutral ground or apolitical set of rules we could all abide by.
She showed us that politics was nothing more than the raw adjudication of power, and if that's all there is, then it may as well be us wielding it than them.
