@michelletomkim @techreview Michelle, I can’t seem to find in your article any legal expert who can argue for Musk’s side? I don’t have a full picture of the case without that.

I'll be reporting on the Musk v. Altman trial at the Oakland courthouse for @techreview. I'm a lawyer who clerked for a federal judge in California, so follow me to unpack what's really happening in the courtroom!

@SleeperSFGiants Logan Webb not being able to pull a Bailey start is telling. I figured regardless that battery would stick

28 years ago today, at 8am, Eric Meyer tapped a few keys on his laptop and launched Netflix to the world. By 10am we'd crashed the servers.
By 2pm we'd run out of mailing labels and someone was making a run to Office Depot.
By midnight we were sitting on the floor eating cold pizza, watching orders trickle in one at a time, half-convinced the whole thing was held together with duct tape.
Which it was.
Best day of my career.

@LeadingReport This is most likely a planned operation to siphon votes from the other Republicans so that way a Democrat can slide into the number 2 position in the poles. Which kills the chances of two Republicans being the only options to win the governorship.

@zach_barnett @nikitabier @JohnCarreyrou @NateSilver538 X and Tik Tok have the same For You and Following tabs. Facebook doesn’t give you an option and neither does Instagram, they force you to accept ads and posts from people you don’t follow.

@nikitabier @JohnCarreyrou @NateSilver538 Here’s a crazy thought: What if you just showed tweets to the accounts that follow them? The whole point of Twitter is that I control my feed, not you. Wild that you don’t understand that.

@KNBR Susac is becoming undeniable. He’s playing his way into taking Bailey’s job. Bailey needs to wake the f up if he wants to stay employed.

嫌味とかではなく本当に素朴な疑問なんだけど、アメリカ人の皆さんはなんでそこまでカリフォルニアを嫌っているんですか?

I have another proposal. We swap California for Japan geographically and leave everything else as is.

@BeholdPaleH0rse In 2025, Ohtani was one of the more aggressive Dodgers when it came to swinging on 0-0 counts. His swing rate was 33.6% vs team average of 30.1%. Mookie was 18.2%.
Maybe he just wanted to see a pitch 1st. He’s been in a slump.

@chirno_helmet Why does decimeter = 1/10 and decameter = x10 work, but when it comes to centimeter = 1/100 there’s no centameter = x100?

@learning_yohei We also need polarized sunglasses on a sunny day when we are driving. Especially at dusk or dawn when the sun can blind you for moments at a time. Dusk and dawn are the most dangerous times of day to drive and has the highest incidences of car crashes.

@shion0_25mg Too early for Coke. If you drank that in America, we might stare 😆. We tend to drink coffee, water, juices, or milk with breakfast.

@26ers_bp115 We call these type of people “Low IQ” individuals. Any American with common sense knows not to do this. Please know that we do not approve of this behavior and we condemn it.
English

@farmlady1988 @26ers_bp115 You would have to be retarded to think hanging on any type of structure is acceptable.

I actually love info like this. Americans don't always mean to be rude when we visit other cultures, we legitimately are just not really taught about the rest of the world. I've always wanted to visit Japan to see the cherry blossoms, I'll remember this when I come. Also, the structure and color of that shrine look just like Americans childhood playgrounds
