@BaalTheWarlock I'm starting to believe that 99% of the Horde players could just up and quit playing... and Blizzard wouldn't even notice. They're catering so much to Alliance mains these last few expansions.

Without telling me your age… what was the very FIRST video game you ever played?

They wanted to be "fair and balanced" for Alliance players losing Varian. Despite the fact the dude goes out in an epic blaze of glory solo'ing a Fel Reaver and spitting in Gul'dan's face... while Vol'jin gets ganked by Generic Felguard 4532. Gotta keep the Alliance players happy, just like they repainted Silvermoon to appeal to them.

I'll never understand what good did, or whatever potential good, could've possibly have come from killing what was EASILY the most universally likable character the Horde has EVER had aside from Thrall. Like what was the point?

It was mid, at best. I'd give it a C-tier at the beginning and maaybe a generous B-tier towards the end. The AP grind in the beginning was horrendous and the Order Halls ranged from okay (if you were an Alliance main) to just... why am I here? Legiondaries were terribly implemented and only fixed when they just let you buy them from a vendor. And for heaven's sake, the one Order Hall that should've been THE Horde Order Hall... was barely any Horde characters at all. AND they were forced to play nice with Magatha fucking Grimtotem. Plus, virtually every Horde race got relegated to background characters. Sure would've been neat if some Loa got to do cool stuff in the Druid and Priest Order Halls so Trolls could get a win after Vol'jin was unceremoniously ganked by Felguard 5346.

Can we, as a community, finally admit Legion really wasn't that good of an expansion.

@BaalTheWarlock I’m betting a LOT of it is held up entirely by their Druid forms. If it wasn’t for that, they’d probably be even lower than Earthen.

Even just looking at max level, Haranir are currently 2.8% Dracthyr have the population protection of Evoker exclusivity, Haranir do not I am confident that once the novelty wears off, next expansion will bring Haranir down to Earthen numbers at 0.6% of the playerbase

The fact Alliance players are, apparently, still THAT butthurt over having to interact with Thrall for one, 30min quest line, one dungeon, and a portion of a raid 16 years ago is just baffling to me. Let's ignore they got an entire zone and a follow-up sub-zone completely dedicated to Night Elves and Wild Gods (Mt. Hyjal and the Molten Front). Oh, and two of their big heroes got to show up for a raid, too (Malfurion and Cenarius in Firelands). Oh, and, they get to raid the Horde's most important capital city in the following expansion. Nah, having to spend 30mins to an hour with Thrall is just too much. Too much zug-zug. Too much "For the Horde!" Gotta keep the unwashed savages in their place so they don't muck up the white European, power fantasy.

People bringing up thrall and cata to try rebuke Midnight issues 1- holy shit that was 16 years ago….. do you get how dumb u r 2- You really misremember how much Thrall was actually a lead role in cata. As people always have. It’s a single questline, a dungeon and a raid.

Should've folded them all into the Void Elves the moment they were released at the end of Legion and had Vareesa retire to the Mage Quarter in Stormwind. Make it emphatically clear that the "high elves" of WoW are either Horde-aligned Blood Elves, or the renegade Void Elves. Put to bed all this nonsense about "playable High Elves", especially when Blood Elves can now choose blue eyes.

The Silver Covenant stinks as a organization and have always had shit writing since Wrath of the Lich King. I'd rather the Silver Covenant have adapted into Void Elves themselves instead of The Silver Covenant existing as this middle between Velf and Belf. They just suck.
