Humanity Exemplified: Beyond Sacrifice 🇮🇳 In an extraordinary act of courage and compassion, the family of a brain-dead mother of two serving soldiers transformed their deepest grief into the gift of life through organ donation at Command Hospital, #WesternCommand, #Chandimandir. Smt Maya Devi, mother of Nb Sub Tilak Raj (Dogra Regiment) and Hav Jagdev Singh (Punjab Regiment), suffered a catastrophic brain stroke. Despite the best medical care, she could not be revived. Displaying exceptional courage, her sons consented to donate her kidneys, liver and corneas, giving a new lease of life to multiple recipients. In coordination with retrieval teams from Army Hospital (R&R) and AIIMS, New Delhi, the Western Healers successfully completed the organ retrieval.
