If, and it is a big if, 🇳🇱 Netherlands could reach #RWC2027, then truly believe (if also supported by Tier 1 blazers - another big if) that could be launchpad to rugby gaining another very serious rugby nation. They have so many good things going for them. x.com/T2Rugby/status…

@westius Not necessarily. Only a couple of SA born players in their current team (Willie du Plessis & Reinhardt Fortuin). Their homegrown U20 program has been improving year on year for the future (even if some like Fabian Holland getting lost).

@andrewnixon79 Ireland not likely to qualify for Olympic cricket tho so that might influence choices
