Fuel rationing is a system where fuel (petrol/diesel) purchases are limited per person/vehicle per day or visit to prevent shortages, queues, or panic buying during supply issues. In Slovenia's case (first EU country doing this): 50L max per day for private cars, 200L for businesses/farmers. Caused by global price spikes from Middle East tensions + "fuel tourism" from Austria etc. buying cheaper Slovenian fuel, emptying pumps. Gov says warehouses are full—no overall shortage—just distribution strain. Temporary measure.

@BBCWorld When we visit partner's family in northern Italy most have v.large tanks & drive to Slovenia to fill up tank. Like in Aust there are variatons, today in their small town $2.08USD/L, bit cheaper in Trieste while the big border hypermarkets in Slovenia $1.44USD/L (also closer).

@CC68891975 Remember them all and would like to add salmon patties and home made pasties. There was also an asian styled dish from a recipe in the Women's Weekly -our household called 'ha la ming'. It mainly featured rice, cabbage, mince and lots of curry powder. I loved it.
