Wake Foresters gathered in Washington, D.C. to celebrate Dr. Katy Harriger upon her retirement. Her 39 years as a Faculty member in the Department of Politics and International Affairs and her 8 years as the Faculty Director of the Wake Washington Center have yielded both influential research and meaningful relationships with hundreds of Wake Forest students.
Dr. Harriger presented her “Last Lecture,” speaking to the critical role that Higher Education has in today’s world, then was joined by former students, former Wake Washington participants, and DC Deacs for a reception.
