The better route would be to acknowledge there is an issue, keep working on it but show the focus on the other things that can benefit people. If all this government does is out flank Reform they will just go too far around the flank and allow Farage to walk straight into No. 10

Step by step progression to an end goal, take the country with you. Instead, right now, all eyes are on the things that this government are doing for the benefit of the people of the UK and instead there’s constant focus on our racing Farage.

Pragmatism without a direction of travel is going to be Starmer’s downfall. Teamed with the heavy reliance on McSweeney. Delivering change is easy if you don’t have a final destination in mind - having a rich tea with a cup of tea instead of a digestive is change.
