@rhensing Ya’ know, everyone here is commenting about “can’t use the CT, too heavy”. And while it would consume a chunk of lif capacity, that weight may actually assist on the Moon as gravity is so much less. The Lunar buggy bounced all over as it was already light, CT would be planted.

@ZacksJerryRig Citreon had this decades ago, and Cybertruck could have it with an OTA update (auto leveling already uses individual control of each wheel) BYD boasts about sales of EVs, but they lump in plug-in hybrids as “EVs” If they are so far ahead, why are Tesla china sales so good?

@scotsrule08 @robotaxi Cons: it made the mistake and hesitated. Pros, it did figure it out eventually without a tech call. Better than Waymo, but this was one of the .01 cases that the slogging “march of the 9s” is still trying to conquer.

Worst @robotaxi move I've seen in recent months. Tried to turn onto a street in Dallas, got stuck, and just sat there blocking the road for almost a minute. Cars having to go around it, and another can’t see past it. In my time riding Robotaxi the decisions have been consistently impressive but this one… this one was not good @Tesla_AI. 🚕

@itskyleconner @whatbethetruth @Starlink In my opinion you’re better off getting a single high performance dish in an optimal location, and then installing ubiquit links to get connectivity to other parts of the property. You should check out @larsklinttech" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@larsklinttech He has a farm in Australia and has Starlink.

Any @Starlink experts here? It is the only internet option available at our farm and I want to improve two things: 1 - Connection stability for 24hr livestream as we are dealing with occasional dropouts 2 - Upload speed for 5-30 GB YouTube videos that need to get up quick I was thinking about meshing two or three units together but unsure if this is possible or helpful?

@bayly @itskyleconner @Starlink For stability in performance, yes. But I think uploads are constrained until we get new satellites via Starship.

@itskyleconner @Starlink The full size dish should do better, but will probably peak out (pending v3 satellites) at around 25-35mbps (calctool.org/other/data-tra…) 5 minutes per GB. More dishes won’t speed up a single upload, but will allow more simultaneous uploads. (Multilane highways vs 1 lane, both 55mph)

@OscarPen5 @DisrespectedThe Also, the unfortunate fact is that even if we wanted to not build any in the US, it would be offshored. Then it would for sure be run worse, more harmful, as well as expose any data to foreign entities. It unfortunately means that we need to know how to manage it here.

@OscarPen5 @DisrespectedThe Living in Maine with a ton of water available, probably gives me a biased perspective. But, the filtering effort to keep the coolant line clean and treated so as not to damage the servers would outweigh keeping it closed loop. At server prices today, this wouldn’t be risked.

TRUMP: ALL FEDERAL AGENCIES MUST BUY AMERICAN — NO EXCUSES! For decades, Washington politicians sent your Taxpayer Dollars overseas, and let Foreign Countries rip us off while our Workers, Factories, and Supply Chains were left behind. That betrayal is OVER. My Administration is strengthening MADE IN AMERICA Laws, ENDING Waiver Loopholes, and STOPPING the Federal Government from buying Foreign Products when Great American Products are available — And to the D.C. Bureaucrats: NO MORE handing out Waivers like candy! No more rubber-stamping exceptions for Foreign Products while American Workers get shafted. We are putting American Workers, American Factories, and American Supply Chains FIRST — Bigger, better, and stronger than ever before! I already signed EO 14392 to crack down on fake “MADE IN AMERICA” claims, and we are enforcing it HARD. No more games. No more fake labels. No more ripping off the American Taxpayer. AMERICA FIRST means BUY AMERICAN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

@DisrespectedThe Bulld them in the north and scavenge the heat for commercial buildings or greenhouses. Water usage is for inital fill and then top-off since it is (supposed) to be a closed loop

@DisrespectedThe I see what you did there. I’m admittedly torn. My wife is fully against it, but I do see there being a multifaceted reason to do it. I am opposed to mowing down/paving over agricultural land and woods. There’s got to be a smarter way of doing this here or in space.

@vxunderground If I had a nickel every time a politician said I had to pay money/give up something so that they can protect my children… I’d be able to pay off the national debt. You learn overtime being a parent that many politicians simply tell you that as a means for more control over you.

@Cyber_Trailer @TeslaCharging It’s (assuming the price stays on track) $30k advertisement at each location. Probably in line with a billboard, but far more impactful in encouraging people to buy their own Optimus. It’s also even more of the Tesla stack to show off to the non-Tesla owners.

I think that’s an excellent idea, but I don’t know if it would come in to play enough to justify having an optimist hanging out full-time. I suppose we might see Optimus begin to hang out at charging stations for various cleanup work and possibly assistance to those that are charging. Heck, optimist might walk over to the Burger King to grab your burger and bring it over to your car. I’m pretty sure that someone would pay one dollar for that.

Dear @TeslaCharging, I realize this is contrary to everything we hear from Review experts and analysts... I believe it’s time to offer the ability to slow down the charging speed at superchargers if the station is not near full and if the car owner would like more time to finish doing whatever they’re doing. Hint: the next 10 Tesla diners. Why in the hell would I say this? There is some indication that slower charging could be better for battery health. This also might increase the overall cost efficiency of large charging stations that are partially reliant on batteries and overhead solar. Yes, I do realize that this would come in to play 10% or less of all charging experiences However, as charging continues to become faster and faster, a 10 minute charging stop is not necessarily long enough for many people to use the bathroom and get something to eat. So why not slow down the charge speed based on the desire of the vehicle owner?
