@ToyotaRaleigh once inflated my tires to 45 PSI and they were ruined by the time I got home. Called in to address it, got ghosted. Had horrible vibration issues until I bought new tires.

I'm convinced more and more everyday, our society is getting stupider. Every single time my wife takes her car in for an oil change they let air OUT of the tires. It doesn't matter where, they all do it. Listen people PUT WHAT THE TIRE CALLS FOR-NOT THE DOOR FRAME! @pepboysauto

A lot of people have a picture in their head of what true evil looks like, but true evil looks like this and tells you that your child’s post-op, inpatient cancer treatment will not be covered by insurance.

@93xashley This is precisely the sort of thing which is not medically necessary, does not improve outcomes, and should be shifted to outpatient care. When your son stays in hospital, he is taking other people’s money and throwing it away. The insurance company is right to stand up for them.

@Holdangarfield @GortSnorkelbunk @QuiveringNUT @FlugeneDebs Name one. Btw I had my gallbladder out laparoscopically, didn't need to stay overnight. It was made abundantly clear to me that if my surgery ended up being open for whatever reason, then I would stay multiple days.

@Holdangarfield @GortSnorkelbunk @QuiveringNUT @FlugeneDebs No, but I will give the surgeon the benefit of the doubt when they make that call. Unless you have extensive experience as a surgeon or post op care nurse, you should too.

Preop, where they prepare you, periop where they cut you, and postop where THEY CARE FOR THE WOUNDS THEY JUST INFLICTED, you dunce. Surgery is violent, you need adequate care afterwards.

Forget all of the other relentless facts and data supporting a globe earth.
One simple flight proves it alone. Sydney to Santiago.
Planes do that nonstop in about 12-14 hours every single week. On a globe that distance and flight time line up perfectly.
On the standard flat-Earth map those same two cities are stretched out near the outer edge, making the distance roughly twice as long (or more).
No commercial jet has the range or speed to cover that in 13 hours, and the real flight tracks don’t go anywhere near the path the flat map would require.

@lost_in_tech I use it often when printing polypropylene. For some reason, the extruder on the Creality K2 jams easily when printing PP and there are a lot of retractions for traveling from one object to the next.

By object is criminally underused.
I wish it was more prominent in the slicer. I spend ages trying to remember where it is.

Getting polypropylene filament dialed in on the printer was a HUGE headache, but worth it.

@SleepyKyju Mine are currently in "flying scissors" mode. One is nominally hand tame, but still nippy. The other is in no way shape or form hand tame, but a very sweet man. He had a hard go at the corporate pet store that gave him to us. Will never trust hands.
