@UziCryptoo Hey Uzi! How ya doing? FYI That 401k you may or may not be investing in for your retirement, Those are unrealized gains. I ain’t rich and I don’t want my future to be taxed so that I can’t support myself in my last years.

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold." So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house? I didn't sell it. I didn't cash out. I didn't make a profit. But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year. Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

@Cryptoboyy_Aji Would work my butt of and Sacrifice a lot to get out of that situation. It is stressful. Been there, done that. Don’t want to go back. Never expected to move out of my parents house and have it easy. Learned I didn’t want to stay broke and made a plan to get out of it.

nobody talks about the mental load of being broke in an expensive world. doing math in your head at the grocery store. checking your account before you swipe. saying “i’m good” when someone suggests going out. skipping the doctor because the copay isn’t in the budget. this isn’t laziness. this isn’t poor decisions. this is millions of people just trying to survive a system that was never designed for them to get ahead.

@jared_shult Yeah. Nobody today would ever want to drive that car. Guaranteed no a/c, carburetor, points that need filing, column shift, chasis lube and farts blue smoke clouds every time it accelerates. Oh and dies by 100k miles. But Boomers had it easy.

@jeremyct Stop getting the government involved in everything. Want lower tuition? Stop giving schools shovels and an open door to the governments coffers. Make them compete. Let them get rid of stupid degrees with ones with actual market value.

boomers could pay for college with around 300 hours of minimum wage work. millennials needed thousands. gen z needs even more. and people still act like younger generations are just “bad with money”

@TheMaineWonk Got those numbers from where exactly? A government website or left leaning media outlet? I bet those numbers are legit. How many are dead? Illegal, fraudulent, or just plain lies? Sorry. Gonna have to do better to change my mind.

70% of all SNAP/Food Stamp participants nationwide are minors, seniors, or non-elderly individuals with disabilities. You're being lied to because they think you're stupid enough to believe it.
XX to the core@SJCazz2025

@TheMaineWonk Appalling how liberals love to spend other people money. What he means is people that are able to get off their lazy asses and feed themselves are now required to do so. Instead of drooling over what others have, go earn it yourself!

@mapleblooded No buddy. That economic prosperity you think you know about was a country coming out of a depression. It was “booming” by comparison to THAT. Middle class people had basic homes, basic cars, pot lucked. Wifes patched clothes, hand me downs, dinner at home. You are ignorant.

Mr. Bezos: Let's have that debate. Under my 5% billionaires wealth tax, we'd: -Give $12K to a working family of 4 -Expand Medicare for dental, vision, hearing -Guarantee universal childcare -Raise starting teacher pay to $60K And you'd still be worth $269 billion after taxes.
More Perfect Union@MorePerfectUS

Jeff Bezos on CNBC: "If people want me to pay more billions, then let's have that debate, but don't pretend that that's gonna solve the problem. You could double the taxes I pay, and it's not gonna help that teacher in Queens.... Airbnb isn't causing high rents. What's really causing high rent is government intervention."

Here's what you fucking morons don't understand: I expect better for my kids. We are top earners in a (supposedly) First World country, so my kids eat grass-fed beef and free range eggs and fresh produce. We only eat Real Food in this house. We easily afforded all of those things just a few years ago. Now it's not so easy anymore, but I am not going to compromise my childrens' quality of life to satisfy the lack of discernment of a subhuman slave like you. Instead, I am going to pay the premium knowing that our President made it harder for us so that billionaires could keep looting the country, so that we could continue to be replaced with foreign workers, so that Chinese people could buy our already-short beef supply from us, and so that Israel could have the war in Iran they've been crying for my entire life. And since you think all of that is okay and that my kids should get fat from eating nothing but rice and beans, you also belong in the same category as all of those people: my enemy.
Mr. Factcheck@50LibtardedIQ

@revenant_MMXX @grok How much do beans, rice, flour, and basic ingredients cost? How easy are they to come by or get for free from a food bank? How long can it feed a person or a small family?

@raven_brah You are out of your mind. My boomer parents did not eat out. It wasn’t “affordable”. We ate sandwiches at picnic tables at rest areas on trips. Meals were at the dinner table. Sound familiar? How families no longer eat at home together…because that was the norm.

Boomers seem to forget that fast food used to be a normal, everyday expense for them because it was affordable. You could get a burger easily on minimum wage, it wasn’t some fancy treat you had once a year as a reward for pulling yourself up by your bootstraps.

Without employees billionaires would never exist. In fact, most millionaires would never exist. This makes it very clear where their wealth actually comes from. They call it leveraging, but when their employees can’t make enough for a good life it’s really just wage theft.

Boomers are all now pretending they rationed food like their parents did during the World Wars. We watched you live your lives. We are your kids. We saw everything you did. These are behaviours the Greatest Generation engaged in. I’m so tired of the Boomer myth making.

@AnAverageGamerX Go to work child. Grown ups are tired of the “I deserve the best of everything because I exist” argument. Your fellow blue voters wanted higher wages for every job. So pay up so the burger flipper can buy a 4-bed, 2-bath house with garage. It’s only fair.

@tuvati Elon can’t be a trillionaire unless people WILLINGLY buy stock in his companies because they have confidence those companies will succeed, but it isn’t guaranteed. You could invest in his companies of you so choose and come along for the ride…or cry about how poor you are…

Do people realize that peanut butter and jelly and chips is what they give kids at school who can’t afford school lunch? That’s what they give prisoners in holding cells if you get to jail after food time. And you want working adults to eat that everyday willingly.
Ben Klayer@the_satellite23

Loaf of bread = $5 Peanut butter = $4 Jelly = $4 18 pack of chips = $12 Bag of apples = $5 Total = $30 And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day. Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.
