Due to the approach of Storm Amy. The Education Authority has directed we close today at 12pm. Our P1 children will leave at 11.50am. Buddies & After School Clubs will not operate this afternoon. All parents are asked to arrange for their children to be collected on time.

Pupils and staff at @WhiteabbeyPs are celebrating the opening of its new extension, marking a significant investment in education for the local community. Founded in 1839, rebuilt in 1939 (for approximately 200 children) and now with over 420 children, this extension marks the first major building work to be completed since the canteen was built with the formation of school dinners in the 1950s. The new extension comprises of three standard classrooms worth £870k. We are proud to be a #parkrunprimary teaming up with Jordanstown Junior Parkrun, a free, fun, & friendly weekly 2k event for 4 to 14 year olds. It is held every Sunday at 9:30am at Ulster University, Jordanstown Campus, Shore Rd, Newtownabbey BT37 0QB #WelcomePrepareSucceed

Our school photographer will be in school on Tuesday to take all P1 & P7 photos. Parents of any other children requiring photos must complete the digital return, emailed on @IRISParentMail last week, BEFORE end of school on Monday.
