Let it be known, @ZohranKMamdani was the only NYC mayoral candidate to come to the rally yesterday demanding protection for our trans youth. He didn’t come to speak, he came to show his support and listen to trans youth. That is the kind of mayor NYC so desperately needs.

@ideologicalized which parts do you perceive as “incredibly obnoxious and unproductive” and how would you recommend we ask that would actually get people to do it? (this is not supposed to be a gotcha or shady, I want to understand the perception so we can tailor and improve messaging)

I think DSA members (myself included) should try to wear masks at big events. I also think we should stop derisively dismissing people asking for us to do that out of hand, even when they are admittedly incredibly obnoxious and unproductive in the way they do it.

COVID denial from "leftist" accounts here is actually getting worse. Right now most seem to be at the same place MAGA was in 2020. The same behavior. The same talking points. The same ignorance of the facts and cruelty towards people who are sharing them. It's utterly shameful.
