DSA electeds were out in force in Astoria this morning to reintroduce the Not on Our Dime! bill, which was previously sponsored by then-Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani.
The mayor wasn’t present but he did send a statement reiterating his support for the bill.

@squid_uagayboi @ZFlawles1s I mean that’s a reasonable prediction. She’s going against an incumbent, doesn’t have pre-existing name recognition and hasn’t been endorsed by any bigpoliticians. She’s got a shot bc the district is great and she’s a solid candidate but Espaillat by 7 is totally plausible.
