@CrazyVibes_1 So wear a white gown for your vows and this beautiful pink gown for the reception.

Hello girls, I'm being criticized for choosing to get married in pink, but this is an old dream, and now it's very close to my wedding date, I need your honest opinion.
My future mother-in-law keeps saying pink is for little girls, that I'll regret it, that everyone will judge me. Been dreaming about a pink wedding dress since I was twelve, drew pictures of it in notebooks during class, imagined walking down an aisle covered in roses. Now it's six weeks away and she's in my head, making me doubt everything.
Started this dress four months ago using Irish crochet lace techniques I learned from videos and a book I found on Hobby Lobby shop, from someone selling her grandmother's old craft collection. The thread alone cost me $160, but I found someone destashing mercerized cotton in this exact blush pink, which saved me probably another hundred dollars. Every motif attached by hand, hours of work while my fiancé sleeps and I question if I'm being ridiculous.
He says he loves it, says pink suits me, says his mom's opinion shouldn't matter. But she's been married thirty years and I'm 28 making a dress out of thread because I can't afford the $3000 one I saw in the boutique. My hands shake when I work on the hem now, wondering if traditional white would've been safer, easier, less of a statement. But I've come this far. The mannequin wears it better than I will. The dress pattern is attached if anyone wants it, though I changed half of it anyway.

Heavy snowfall in Toronto and some drivers still flying at the speed limit or above.
You’re not “cool” blowing past drivers who are being cautious — you’re reckless and putting everyone else at risk.
Slow down. Get there alive. #TorontoTraffic #SnowStorm #DriveSafe

BREAKING: Canadian Police chase caught on film. This is why you don’t mess with Cops in Canada, criminals don’t stand a chance.
One of the best winter tire advertisements ever produced. 😂

Seem like yesterday - oh ya - I spent four years in X Jail!

@PCArsenault IF I have legal firearms and licenses I will use them to protect my family. Send me to jail if you must but I kept my family safe. The intruder would need corrective surgery and never product any offspring again😈

When police issue a lockdown and tell people to stay inside and lock their doors, a serious legal question arises.
In Canada, self-defence is legal - but firearms are heavily regulated, and there is no "stand your ground" or "castle doctrine."
So what does the law actually allow a homeowner to do if someone breaks in during a lockdown, and where is the legal line between protecting your family and facing criminal charges?
In this situation, the suspect was armed and already proved he was willing to use it. Are those grounds enough?
In the US (it seems to me) this would be a no brainer. In Canada, even if you beat the case, you could lose your entire life savings in the process.
This is a discussion about law, policy, and reality - not advice.

@LukaszukAB @chrischuckry Moves Troops! They are already 90 miles from Boise with nuclear capabilities. Alberta is nutz to want to join the USA.

Albertans, this no longer is fun and games. It never was. What seemed unreal, with separatists’ aid, is now reality.
